Rondo
Rondo’s is a series of textile sculptures born from a personal experience of loss and physical tension. The artworks are an exploration of form, fixation, and meaning. The result is a series of circular forms where emotion, the body, and spirituality. Rondo’s is a visual translation of the inner dialogue between the physical and the unseen. A search for balance, space, and connection.
The work is crafted from mercerized cotton, gaining its structural strength through a process of weaving, controlled fixation, and drying. A total of 375 meters of yarn has been used. The final form measures 14 centimeters in diameter and 5 centimeters in height, resulting in a compact and stable textile object with high material density and dimensional stability.

Selection
A selection of my different works, varying in form, material, and theme. Each piece explores a different aspect of my artistic practice — from physicality and emotion to structure, repetition, structure and transformation. While the projects differ in approach, they are connected by a shared interest in the tension between the internal and the external.

Froissé
A series of 12 vibrant, three-dimensional works [6 wrapped, 6 woven] by Marco Biemans, constructed from wood and mercerized cotton. Each piece represents a personal emotion or memory, abstractly inspired by crumpled paper. Together, they form a visual narrative of vulnerability, growth, and the strength found in human experience.
